  • About FCCLA
FCCLA-Family, Career, Community Leaders of America, founded in 1945, is a dynamic and effective national student organization that helps young men and women become leaders and addresses important personal, family, work, and social issues through Family and Consumer Sciences Education.  In 2021-2022, Georgia's FCCLA membership had 272 affiliated chapters and almost 26,000 members.

Chapter projects focus on a variety of youth concerns including teen pregnancy, parenting, family relationships, substance abuse, peer pressure, environment, nutrition and fitness, inter-generational and career education.

Involvement in FCCA offers members the opportunity to expand their leadership potential and develop skills for life-planning, goal-setting, and problem solving.
