My  name is Anita P. Robinson.  This is my 9th year of teaching Fourth Grade at F.ave and my 31st year at CSD.  Before coming to F.ave, I was an Intervention Paraprofessional for 10 years at Oakhurst Elementary. I spent 11 years as a Paraprofessional at College Heights Elementary.  I attended  Oakhurst Elementary,  Second Avenue Elementary (to relieve overcrowding at Oakhurst!).  My sister and I were among the first classes to enter Renfroe Middle School in 1972!! I went on to Decatur High School where I spent three and a half years. I left the system in March 1978 and graduated from Harper High School (Atlanta) in June 1978. I received my B.A. in English from Agnes Scott College and received my M.A.T. (Elementary Teacher Education) from the University of Phoenix.  

I am married to Lionel A. Robinson (my high school sweetheart). We have spent 47 wonderful years together. He also attended school in Decatur (College Heights, Renfroe, and Decatur High School), graduating in 1978.   We have four children; Dominicus, Michael, Andrea', and Terryon'. They all attended CSD as well. Do I believe in this system? Yes I do!!! Our only granddaughter, Sanai', is entering ninth grade at Decatur High School this year! I enjoy spending time with family and friends, decorating our 76 year old home in Kirkwood (my family playfully calls me “Martha Stewart”), and TEACHING!   My goal is to forge a space where children feel supported and confident in their abilities, are eager to learn, and have fun while doing so!  I am very passionate about teaching and nurturing children.  I am so happy to be able to teach in the school system where I grew up. I look forward to a great school year!
