Hello everyone! My name is Jessica Smith, and I am a Kindergarten paraprofessional working with the amazing Ms. Greenfield. It is an honor to be a part of the Westchester Elementary Crew this year! Teaching elementary students has been one of my passions since 2019. I have been in the education field since 2010 focusing on early childhood development after receiving my associate's degree in elementary education. I received a bachelor's degree in interdisciplinary studies with a concentration in counseling and behavioral and learning disabilities. I'm currently expecting to receive a master's degree in Elementary education with certification and ESOL endorsement in May 2025 all from Georgia State University. I previously worked at the Friends School of Atlanta located here in Decatur for15 years. I am a Georgia native. Outside of school, I love to spend time with my two daughters and my two Pomeranians. I love being with family and friends. Also, I like to advocate for one of my other passions: sickle cell disease awareness. I am truly thankful for this opportunity to work with so many wonderful staff members and students! Go Westchester wolves!
