      My name is Rebecca Pendrick, but at Westchester, I am known by my family name, Rebecca Peacock. I am so   excited to be your part-time school counselor! I am scheduled to be in the building on Mondays,       Wednesdays and Fridays for the 2024-2025 school year.

      I earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Tennessee, a Master's degree in   Education from Georgia State University, and an Education Specialist degree in Professional Counseling and Supervision from the University of West Georgia. I am also a Licensed Professional Counselor and a   Registered Play Therapist. 

     In my free time, I enjoy hiking, crafting, exploring new restaurants, and playing with my dog, Toby, and toddler, Lenora!

    • Academic, behavioral, and social/emotional support through short-term, individual counseling and/or small group sessions.

    • Classroom counseling lessons that focus on character education, social skills, careers, study/test-taking skills, coping skills, conflict resolution, safety and other topics to support students' complete development to be successful now and in the future.

    • Teacher consultations to wrap all students in holistic support.

    • Parent consultations to support the family system.

    • Crisis counseling and referrals to outside agencies when needed.
