My name is Jessica DeCuyper, or Nurse Jess as the kids call me, and I am so happy to be part of the Westchester Crew! Both of my children attended Westchester so I know first hand how special Westchester truly is!  I received my Bachelors in Arts at Catholic University of America and my Bachelors in Science of Nursing at Georgia State.  I have been a nurse for nearly 15 years here in Atlanta, working primarily in critical care units at both Emory and Piedmont hospitals.  At Westchester, I am here to provide for the health and safety of your student, with the goal to keep them in the classroom. School Health Clinic Visits

Students with symptoms of illness will be escorted to the school clinic for evaluation.  All symptomatic students will be sent home from school.  We kindly request that you have your child picked up within one hour of being called.  Please review our list of what symptoms your child will be sent home for, and remember, please do not medicate your child with a fever prior to sending them to school.  Your child should be fever free for 24 hours, without the use of medications, before sending them to school.
