Dear students and families for rising IB Year 1 French students,

This summer I have assigned the book "le Voyage Perdu" to help prepare you for the increased challenge of IB French. Reading is a great way to develop your vocabulary and language interpretation/receptive skills.  Students will have access to the book and digital resources, including comprehension questions in the linked Google Drive folder. You may wish to purchase the hard copy on Amazon for $6. While answering comprehension questions is not mandatory, it is a good way to check for understanding and keep track of the events in the book. During the second week of school, students will take a reading comprehension exam based on the events and characters in "Le Voyage Perdu" in response to this summer's reading assignment.
