Oakhurst classes have been assigned an indoor and outdoor lunch location. Our priority is to eat outside. Situations that might cause us to eat inside include: rain, a heat index that is too high, temperatures that are too cold, etc. Your child should keep a towel in their backpack each day for eating outdoors. Be reminded that GA summers often consist of many days when the heat index is dangerously high. We will make the determination daily if we feel it is safe to eat outdoors. Parents may check students out daily for lunch if they choose.
