Hi, Oakhurst friends! I am so excited to be going back to Kindergarten after 9 years as an Early Intervention Teacher here at Oakhurst, where I have been for over 20 years. I have a M.Ed in Early Childhood Education, and also received my BA degree from College of Charleston. I have taught students in grades K-3, and love to celebrate all the unique talents and gifts of all our Oakhurst Owls. 

I love working and living in the Decatur community (with my husband Dave, my 14- year-old daughter Kennedy, 2 dogs (Rocky and Harley), and a cat (Popcorn), and cherish the relationships I have made with families throughout the years. I am thankful to work with such a dedicated group of people who inspire me each and every day to make a difference in the lives of little people.
