Hooty Hoo Oakhurst Owls! I have been a proud educator in the City Schools of Decatur for over 20 years. During my time in Decatur, I’ve taught PreK, Kindergarten, and Early Intervention. As an original "Georgia Peach'," I graduated with my undergraduate degree from Clark Atlanta University and later earned a Master's Degree in Reading and Literacy and an Education Specialist Degree in Instructional Leadership. My husband and I have two sons who are Decatur High School alumni as well as graduates from rival colleges, which creates a lot of competition in the house. During my downtime, I enjoy spending time with my family, watching all types of sports, and catching up on my reading. I look forward to all the fun adventures we will have in Kindergarten this year!
