Budget and Design Concept

Our envisioning and planning processes are ongoing. We have partnered with a team of architects from Goodwyn, Mills, and Cawood (GMC) to help us bring the promise of the Early Childhood Learning Center to life. Our GMC team partners guided a large group of stakeholders, including parents, local elected officials, DHS architecture students, and members of local interest groups, through an envisioning exercise that produced new and collaborative ideas for the eventual design of the Early Childhood Learning Center.
The new ECLC will be approximately 33,000 square feet and include core instructional rooms for roughly 18 infants, 24 one-year-olds, 30 two-year-olds, 45 three-year-olds, and 18 four-year-olds.
